Robert Muir Graves (1930–2003) was an American landscape and golf course architect who served as president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects from 1974 to 1975. Over his career, Graves established himself as a prolific designer across the western United States and beyond, with projects spanning California, the Pacific Northwest, the Mountain West, British Columbia, and as far as Malaysia.
His portfolio demonstrates a particular strength in California design, where courses like Saticoy Country Club, Lake Merced Golf Club, and San Luis Obispo Golf & Country Club showcase his range from traditional club settings to more dramatic terrain.
