Peter Thomson

Peter Thomson was one of Australia's most accomplished professional golfers, winning five Open Championships and maintaining an extraordinary competitive record across multiple continents. From turning professional in 1949, he won at least one tournament annually for twenty consecutive years, amassing 27 national open titles worldwide. His victories spanned Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the United Kingdom, continental Europe, Asia, and North America.

Beyond his playing career, Thomson became a prolific golf course architect with extensive work throughout Asia and the Pacific region.
