Gary Koch

Gary Koch is an American professional golfer who transitioned from competitive play to careers in golf course design and broadcasting. Born in 1952, Koch competed on the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, and Champions Tour before shifting his focus to design work and television commentary.

As a golf course architect, Koch has developed a portfolio primarily centered in the southeastern United States. His Florida designs include Las Colinas at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Mystic Dunes Golf Club near Celebration, Arlington Ridge in Leesburg, and The Groves Golf and Country Club in Land O Lakes. Beyond Florida, his work includes Mill Creek Golf Club in Mebane, North Carolina, and Tribute at Otsego Golf Club in Gaylord, Michigan.
