Fuzzy Zoeller (2nd 9)

Fuzzy Zoeller was an American professional golfer who captured ten PGA Tour victories during his career, including two major championships. He won the 1979 Masters Tournament in his debut appearance at Augusta National, becoming only the third player to achieve that feat, and added the 1984 U.S. Open at Winged Foot following an 18-hole playoff victory over Greg Norman.

Following his competitive playing career, Zoeller ventured into golf course design. The Delaware Golf Club in Delaware, Ohio, represents his design work, with the second nine holes bearing his imprint. While less prolific as an architect than as a touring professional, this course demonstrates his transition from championship play to shaping golf courses.

Zoeller passed away in November 2025, leaving behind a legacy defined primarily by his major championship victories and his personable presence in professional golf.
