Dave Marr

Dave Marr was an American professional golfer who won the 1965 PGA Championship before transitioning to a distinguished career as a golf commentator and course designer. Born in Houston in 1933, Marr competed on the PGA Tour during the 1960s and 1970s, earning respect for both his playing ability and his thoughtful understanding of the game. He later became known to millions as an insightful television analyst for ABC and BBC.
