Cabell B. Robinson

Cabell B. Robinson is an American golf course architect who has built an extensive portfolio concentrated primarily in continental Europe and the Iberian Peninsula. His work spans Spain, Portugal, France, Switzerland, Morocco, and Cyprus, with particular depth in Andalucía's Costa del Sol region.

Robinson designed all three 18-hole championship courses at La Cala Resort in Mijas Costa—Campo América, Campo Asia, and Campo Europa—which together form Spain's largest golf complex as recognized by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation. His other notable European designs include Finca Cortesin in Casares and La Reserva de Sotogrande, both in Andalucía, as well as Praia D'el Rey in Portugal, a links-style par-73 championship course opened in 1997 that challenges players with coastal holes and wooded inland passages.

Beyond these signature projects, his course list includes additional Spanish layouts such as Las Colinas, Santana Golf, and Valle Romano, alongside work in Morocco (Cabo Negro, Royal Golf de Fes, Golf d'Amelkis), Switzerland (Golf Club Lugano, Golf Di Locarno), France (Golf de la Grande Bastide, Golf d'Orléans Limère), and Portugal's Madeira (Palheiro). His courses have hosted professional events including Ladies European Tour qualifying and the Spanish Pairs final.
