Bill Robinson

Bill Robinson built an extensive portfolio of golf courses across North America, with particular concentration in the Pacific Northwest and western Canada. His work spans from the New England coast—including Farm Neck on Martha's Vineyard and Duxbury Yacht Club in Massachusetts—to British Columbia's Vancouver Island, where courses like Uplands and Cordova Bay demonstrate his range across diverse terrain.

Robinson's designs are characterized by their regional adaptability. In Oregon, he shaped Willamette Valley Country Club and the coastal Ocean Dunes Golf Links. His Canadian work includes numerous Alberta projects such as Sturgeon Valley and Eagle Ranch in the Rockies, alongside multiple British Columbia layouts. In the Northeast, he contributed courses throughout Vermont, Pennsylvania, and New York, including both nines at Stratton Mountain Resort.

With more than seventy designs attributed to him, Robinson worked across resort, private club, and municipal settings, establishing himself as a prolific architect whose courses continue to serve golfers from the Atlantic provinces to the Pacific Northwest.
