Baron Paul Rolin

Baron Paul Rolin was a golf course architect whose work is primarily associated with Belgium and the neighboring Netherlands during the early to mid-20th century. His portfolio reflects the development of continental European golf during a period when the sport was expanding beyond the British Isles.

Rolin's designs include several notable Belgian courses that remain in play today. Among his works are the Championship course at Golf Club Hasselt in Limburg, Cleydael Golf & Country Club near Antwerp, and both the North and South courses at Rinkven Golf Club in Gravenwezel. He also designed layouts at Waregem Golf Club in West Flanders—including both the main Waregem course and a compact layout—as well as Wellington Golf Course in Ostend. His reach extended across the border to the Netherlands with Golf & Country Club Hoenshuis in Voerendaal.

His body of work demonstrates a consistent presence in the Low Countries golf scene, contributing to the region's golfing infrastructure during an important formative era.
