Algie Pulley

Algie Pulley is an American golf course architect whose design work spans the Mid-Atlantic and California regions. He collaborated with Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay on the Country Club at Woodmore in Mitchellville, Maryland, which opened in 1981 and has hosted professional events including Nationwide Tour stops and a U.S. Senior Open qualifier.

Pulley's portfolio includes a diverse range of courses across multiple states. In Virginia, his designs include Evergreen Country Club in Haymarket, Montclair Country Club, Brookwoods Golf Club in Quinton, Auburn Hills Golf Club in Riner, and Lake Monticello Golf Course in Palmyra. He also designed the Blue course at Hunt Valley Country Club in Phoenix, Maryland, and Cripple Creek Golf and Country Club in Dagsboro, Delaware. On the West Coast, his work includes Apple Mountain Golf Resort in Camino, California, and Chardonnay Golf Club & Vineyards in American Canyon, California. Additional designs include Piankatank River Golf Club in Hartfield, Virginia.
